Streamer presented the innovations at EP China 2016
EP China 2016 - the International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology – took place in Beijing for the 16th time this year already. It was attended by more than 26 thousand experts from 47 countries of the world.
More than 800 companies from Russia, Europe, South-Eastern and South Asia participate at the exhibition. Traditionally EP China covers all key areas of power engineering: from power plants, turbines and alternative sources of energy to various technologies of electricity production, transmission and distribution. Total exhibition area makes about 35,000 sq.m.
Streamer demonstrated Line Lightning Protection Devices (SAi10z “Red Dragon” and SAd35z) and continuous transformer oil monitoring and cleaning from mechanical impurities, dehydration and degassing Transec to the exhibitors. Despite of the fact that many visitors were not familiar with presented solutions, the equipment drew a great attention. EP China is visited by very qualified audience, really interested in innovation solutions.
It is not a surprise, as power engineering branch is witnessing a real growth in China. According to National Energy Administration of China, more than 2 trillion CNY (280 billion USD) will be invested within program of overhead power lines development for 2015-2020. The length of high-voltage (more than 800 kV) and medium-voltage power lines should be increased within five years for 40% and 30%, respectively. The network of high-voltage lines is expected to reach up to 1 million km in length, and network of medium voltage will reach 4 million km by 2020.
Ekaterina Koreneva, who worked at the company’s booth noted: “One should go to China with knowledge of Chinese, rather than English. It is very good that we learn this language in Streamer. Of course, we are far from free communication, but even our limited knowledge was welcomed by the visitors of the exhibition and inspired them to know more about our company”.
Streamer is going to exhibit at the next exhibition in 2017, that would be called EP Shanghai.
